Renowned and controversial writer Chuck Palahniuk concludes the Clarion West Summer Reading Series with a selection from his recent work. Palahniuk will be appearing on the University of Washington Campus, in Kane Hall. Free tickets are required. Tickets to Palahniuk's reading will be available at our previous readings (beginning Tuesday, June 24 with Paul Park) or at the University Book Store in Seattle's University District starting Wednesday, June 25.

Chuck Palahniuk is known for his skillful hand with disturbing and unusual modern fables. Dark humor, horror, mystery, and a touch of the surreal compose his literary landscape. His most recent book, Snuff, follows one woman's quest for immortality in the porn industry. His novel Fight Club won both critical acclaim and cult status before being turned into a major motion picture from 20th Century Fox. Chuck Palahniuk is Clarion West's 2008 Susan C. Petrey Fellow.

There will be no signing session for this event. Pre-signed books will be sold by the University Book Store.
